No more shall we part
No More Shall We Part, a short produced in 2011, was well received when it was screened at Reykjavik International Film Festival, has been accepted to Glasgow Short Film Festival and is a contender for many other international festivals. Shaun Hughes wrote and directed the piece.
Sparkles is the title of a song by the band Light Parades. Duncan produced the music video for the band, which was directed by my Factotum Films collaborator Tim Courtney. The band requires the video for their album launch and tour and it has created much interest with other bands. Have a look at the show reel for a preview.
Bone Zero was a short film produced and directed by Duncan in 2009. For this film, his production designer had a purpose built noir private detective office built in a makeshift soundstage which they shot the majority of the film in. The almost silent (bar a couple narrations) short portrayed feelings of isolation and madness in truly stylised film noir fashion.
This short voxpopdoc was produced, shot and edited in 2 days to aid my application for Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014 In-House Filmmaker. I feel that an important aspect of the Glasgow 2014 marketing campaign is to show the heart of the city through the people. With this in mind I asked the public one question; what does Glasgow mean to them?
